David Wilson passed away peacefully from the loving arms of his wife Sherry into the arms of the Angels waiting to embrace him On Monday, July, 22, 2019. David was born on October 10, 1962 in Pascagoula, MS to Francis and Margaret Wilson; he spent most of his life in Rome, made many friends and touched so many lives. He was one of the happiest people you could ever want to meet and would literally give you the shoes off his feet; his big laugh filled any room with love.
In 2002 David met the "Love of His Life"; on July 12 2003 he married his wife Sherry who he always called his "Angel"; theirs was a love not known my many and they were blessed to be together over 17 years. They cherished each moment together, never took each other for granted and without effort always remember to say "I Love You' many times each and every day. David and Sherry spent their life together taking care of each other and building their own special world. The memories of their times together at Cocoa Beach will never be forgotten. His greatest joy in life was being with the family they built together; his "Kids" Jessie and Jennifer, his grandchildren Aaron and Daisy and his fur baby Bubba. The love David had for his family was immeasurable and knew no bounds.
David enjoyed his NY Giants football to the point of obsession; he watched each and every game, would tell you about each player and could talk about it for hours. He also enjoyed the time he spent snowmobiling and playing corn hole with the people he cared about most. David worked at Family Dollar Distribution Center where he made many close friends; everyone there knew him as "Dude", he also spent many years at LaRoma's Pizzeria where he will not be forgotten.
David is survived by his wife Sherry; his "kids" Jessie and Jennifer Cameron; his cherished grandchildren, Aaron and Daisy and his best friend Bubba who has been by his side every day for the last three years. Also surviving David are two sisters; Linda (Tim) Elmer and Kim (Brian) Kirley; his mother-in-law, Shirley who he loved with all his heart; sisters-in-law; Julie Matewicz and Shelia (Jewell) Dye and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He also had two children; Joshua and Jessica who he loved very much and a great-granddaughter McKinley who he had not yet been able to spend time with.
David will be missed by so many who loved him and our lives will never be the same. "Always and Forever" my love, until we meet again.
