David James Vitley Sr., beloved Father, Grandpa, Brother, Uncle, and friend passed away peacefully at the age of 78 years old. He was born and raised in Cheyenne, Wyoming. He Loved Hunting, Fishing, Camping, being in the Mountains, and most of all being around his family. He served his country during the Vietnam War where he was a jet airplane mechanic on the USS Enterprise for the United States Navy.
He is preceded in death by Antonio Vitley(Father), June Vitley (Mother), Patricia Vitley (Sister), and Chad Vitley (Son). He is survived by his Brother Alfred and Sister In Law Jerrilyn Vitley, and Sister Carol McAfee-Vitley. His Sons David and Tony Vitley, his daughter in laws Ashley and Whitney Vitley, Ten Grandchildren, one Great Grandchild, and many Nieces and Nephews.
He will be especially remembered for his kindness, patience, and bringing a smile to everyone as he touched the hearts of so many. He will truly be missed by all that knew him.
His Memorial Service will begin March 14th at 10 am at Cheyenne National Cemetery with Honors. Service to Follow at the Kiwanis Community House with Memory Sharing and Reception.
