David Paul Stone 68 passed away January 22, 2021 while working on his van at his home in West Fairlee,
Vermont. David was employed by Estes & Gallup Inc. in Lyme, New Hampshire, where he enjoyed
working very much. He was known as a hard worker and thought of his employers and co-workers as
friends. He adored his close-knit family. He had many wonderful times with them, swapping work and
hunting stories, many good times were had.
He also had a large spiritual family, whom Dave and his wife adored, He was very devoted to his God,
Jehovah, his spiritual brothers and sisters and his ministry.
His future hope and favorite scripture can be found in the Bible at Revelations 21:4 " and he will wipe out every tear from their eyes and death will be
no more. Neither will mourning, nor outcry, nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away."
He was always helping friends and neighbors in his many years in West Fairlee and was called a friend by
many. David enjoyed hunting, fishing and boating on Miller Pond with his wife and children.
David leaves: his devoted wife of 49 1/2 years, Valerie Stone, his children: Angie and Henry Markert,
Francie and Reginald Warren, David Scott Stone and Audrey Stone, Rodney Brewton and Trevor Gullett.
Grandchildren and great-grandchildren: Ashley Bailey and Keift Moorhead, Hali Bailey, Tygen Bailey,
Jennifer Waln, James Gillis, Michael Waln, Austin Waln and Katherine Braswell, Victoria Danforth,
Skylynn Bryant, Abbigail Bryant, Bryan Waln and Sara Garner, Matthew Waln, Alayna Garner, Kaitlin and
Travis Doerflier, Angelina Burke. Siblings: Shirley Warden, Allen and Linda Stone, Alford and Diane Stone
Robert E Stone, Pauline Smith, Vernal and Pamela Stone, Russell and Dawn Stone, Douglas and Ellen
Stone. Uncle; Walter Manning and many cousins and nephews and nieces. He was pre-deceased by his
father Ernest Stone, Mother Helen Stone, Brother Duane Stone, Sister Elaine Hodge, great
granddaughter, Vanessa Burke, great-grandson Aiden Waln.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions no gathering will be held at this time. However, a ZOOM Service will be
held from the Royalton Kingdom Hall on Saturday, January 30th at 2:00pm.
