Survived by his beloved wife, Lisa Matheny; their three wonderful children, Daniel, Joseph, and Rachel; surrogate nephew, Jimmy; their three handsome grandsons, Daniel, Jesse, and Junior; his mother, Rosalia Millan and her husband, Marvin Pettis; his father, Donald L. Silva; his stepmother, June McPhee-Silva; his brothers Donald, Daniel and Ray Zaste; his sisters, Marci, Tammi and Carrie Silva; his loving family/friends and the several kids he mentored in construction and football throughout his life.Funeral services will take place at Greer Family Mortuary and Cremation Services, 2694 Blanding Avenue, Alameda, CA. The viewing will be held on June 16th from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Pastor Guillermo Tenorio will preside with a few prayers at 5:45 p.m. The funeral service will also be held at Greer Family Mortuary and Cremation Services on June 17th at 11:00 a.m.Family and friends are invited to attend the funeral services in honor of David at Greer Family Mortuary and Cremation Services, 2694 Blanding Ave., Alameda.
