David Edward Sarra of McKean PA passed away at age 74, surrounded by his loving family at his home on August 14th, 2023 after a long period of declining health. Dave was born in Butler, PA on July 16th, 1949. He was preceded in death by his mother, Clara Costa, and adoptive father Jim Sarra. Dave was a skilled welder for over 35 years until his retirement. He enjoyed restoring classic cars, his two yellow labs, and watching the Steelers play football. He is survived by his wife, Rosemary Sarra, daughters Kimberly McGahen (Danny), and Nicki Halford (Rob), sisters Rita Sarra and Marie Velez (Joe) and grandchildren Ethan and Harper McGahen. His friends and family are invited to gather in fond memory of Dave and in celebration of his life and his return home to Jesus on Saturday August 19th at McLane Church in Edinboro, PA. The viewing will begin at 10am followed by a service at 12pm. Optional Steelers attire is welcomed.
