David R. McLaughlin

David R. McLaughlin, 67, of Fredericksburg, died Dec. 8, 2009 at Mary Washington Hospital following a battle with cancer.He was preceded in death by his parents, June Bohandy McLaughlin, and his father, Ma. Gen. George W. McLaughlin.Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Joan Keleher McLaughlin; a son, Jared McLaughlin of Middleburg; a sister, Judith McLaughlin of Sacramento, Calif.; his mother-in-law, Helen Keleher of Georgetown, Mass.; two sisters-in-law, Claire Cummings of Stafford County and Noreen Mansfield of Georgetown, Mass.; and several nieces and nephews.A memorial service was held Dec. 14 at Covenant Funeral Service in Fredericksburg. Interment will take place in Quantico National cemetery at a later date.In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Fredericksburg SPCA, 10819 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg, VA 22408 and Lloyd C.
