David R. Hudachek of Eagleville, Pa., passed away on June 1, 2022. He passed unexpectedly at Reading Hospital due to medical issues.
He was born on July 11, 1979, in Clarks Summit, Pa. David graduated from Abington Heights High School and the University of Scranton. He was an active runner and swimmer in school, however, he had a passion and skill as a caddie at the Country Club of Scranton. David was recognized for these attributes with a scholarship from the J. Wood Platt Caddie Scholarship Trust. He continued to caddie at a variety of courses long after graduation.
He started his career in logistics at Road Scholar Transportation locally. From there, he moved to the Philadelphia area to work for Interline Brands as logistical master, Pepsi as transportation director and Amazon as supply manager.
David is survived by his wife, Alicia Lynne Hudachek (Packin); parents, Patricia and Robert Hudacheck; brother, Devin Hudachek; mother and father-in-law, Donna and Dr. Gary Packin; and brother-in-law, Gregory Packin (Susan).
A visitation will be held on Saturday, June 11, from 9 to 11 a.m. and memorial service starting at 11 a.m. at Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., 418 S. State St., Clarks Summit, Pa.
