David Lynn Griffin, 70 of Sevierville, passed away Monday, June 17, 2024.
David was of Baptist faith. He was a retired security guard. He loved spending time watching sports especially the Tennessee Vols. He enjoyed watching and collecting old movies.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Hamilton and Gertrude Griffin; brothers, Plug, Oscar, and Richard Griffin; and sisters, Sadie Buckner and Evelyn Fox.
He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Janette Griffin; sister, Patsy Denton; brother, Mark Griffin; sisters-in-law, Barbara Helton and Connie Cole; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Friday, June 21, 2024, from 5-7PM in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville with funeral service to follow at 7PM with Rev. Lowell Wilson officiating.
