David S. Gardner, 50, of Lewistown, passed away Wednesday, October 28, 2020, at William Penn Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center.
Born Jan. 23, 1970, in Lewistown, he was a son of the late Rev. Dennis R. Gardner, Sr. and Marie L. (Baney) Gardner.
He is survived by: children, Emily L. Anderson and husband, Vernon, and Austin D. Gardner, both of Montana; granddaughter, Westlyn Anderson; siblings, Melinda Copeland and husband, Carl, of Florida and Dennis R. Gardner Jr. and wife, Sandra, of Bedford.
David was a 1988 graduate of Penn View Bible Institute, in Penns Creek.
He was a member of the Free Trinity Church in the state of New Mexico.
David worked at Wood Mode, New Berlin Plastics, and recently he would transport the Amish to appointments and places they wanted to go.
His children were his pride and joy. He loved spending time with his family and attending their sporting events. He liked horses, enjoyed woodworking, and was an avid Coca Cola collector.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, November 2, 2020, at Paxtonville VFW, 1555 Paxtonville Rd, Middleburg, PA 17842.
Arrangements are under the care of Hoenstine Funeral Home, 75 Logan St., Lewistown.
