David Ray Fullen Sr., 82, of Eastland, TX, passed away on September 17, 2021, in Eastland. David was born in Whiteface, TX to W. B. and Nellie Fullen on April 20, 1939. He married Edna Fullen on July 21, 1960, at Fairview Baptist Church in Levelland, TX. David loved fishing, hunting and being outdoors with his kids and grandkids. He served in the United States Navy from 1957 to 1961 and was a E2 Machinist Mate. Upon his discharge he went back home to Levelland. After moving his family from Levelland in 1965, he went to work for Sunshine Iron Works in Odessa. In 1977, David started Fullco General with his sons. Starting in 2005, he devoted his time to ranching and traveling with Edna and spending time with their grandkids. In 2012, David and Edna moved to Eastland to enjoy fishing and life on the lake. He is preceded in death by his wife, Edna; his parents; his daughter, Connie; and his sister, Mary Lindsey. He is survived his siblings, W.B. Jr. and Carolyn, Carol Hale, Lavern and Waylon Pierce, Deann and Roland Whitaker, Jerry Fullen, Laura Wilson; sons, David (Bo) and Sherry Fullen, Gary and Karen Fullen; grandchildren, Chris Brooks, Patti Rowland, Charlee Davidson, Michelle Johnson, Elizabeth Floyd, Kacee Klein, Jessee Sullivan, Trey Whitefield, Katie Fullen, JR Fullen; 10 great grandkids; niece, Christie Spencer; special caregivers, Ann Robertson and Shanna Nuttal; and many family and friends. Graveside Services will be at 10:00 AM, September 22, 2021, at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Reverend Dr. Jimmy Braswell officiating.
