
Darrel Anthony Kelley
The most wonderful, loving and caring Son, Father, Brother, Uncle and Friend.
Darrell Anthony Kelley was born on August 7, 1961 in Chicago, Il to the union of Gerald A. Kelley and Dorothy M. (Miller ) Kelley.
Darrell was baptized into the Catholic faith. He attended Holy Cross and Our Lady Gate of Heaven Elementary Schools and Mendel and Central YMCA College Prep High school.
Darrell joined the US Navy in 1981. He was the "Outstanding Recruit" in his class and RCPO of his Command Unit. He was assigned to the USS Enterprise NSC and had the opportunity to travel to many countries in the West Pacific. Darrell served for eight years and was honorably discharged.
Darrell was a "Black Cowboy". He became a professional Rodeo Performer (Steer Wrestler) and won several championship events. He was a "Black West" Historian and Producer and presented and promoted many events around the mid west.
Darrell was a member of Chicago Cross Roads Corvette Club, a member of Doric 77th Prince Hall Masonry and President of the Buffalo Soldiers Chapter 3MC Chicago.
Those who will hold him in their minds and hearts forever are his sons

his niece Mikale Kelley-Ross, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and a host of other loving and devoted relatives and friends.
All who knew and loved Darrell will be forever grateful to have had him touch their lives and leave so many beautiful memories to cherish.
