Darlene "GiGi' Allen Quinn was born Nov 17, 1959, in South Bend, IN to Queen Evelyn Henry and Clarence (OC) Johnson. Both parents proceed her in death. She graduated from Niles High School and produced two loving children: Shanita Johnson and Tyran Allen. Darlene worked various jobs but found a love for doing hair which led her to obtain a license in Cosmetology which led her to have an extensive career as Beautician at Sisters of the Holy Cross from 1998 to her retirement in 2022. Darlene professed Christ at an early age, and was a faithful Woman who loved the Lord, her family and church. She married Cyril Quinn August 31st, 1999. Both are members of Antioch Glory Center under the leadership of Apostle Jeff Wilson and Pastor Kim Wilson. Her battle with Cancer started in 2010, and throughout she maintained her faith in Christ for complete healing and God blessed her to live 12 years after her first diagnosis. Darlene was very active, she enjoyed working out at the gym, gardening, traveling, going to the movies, helping others and most important spending time with her grandchildren whom she loved dearly. She leaves behind a loving Husband Cyril Quinn, children: Shanita Johnson, Tyran Allen, Cyril Quinn Jr, and her grandchildren Zaylen Allen and Dredyn Allen. Four Brothers-Premel (Patricia) Freeman, Cornell (Alberta) Grayer, Orlando Johnson, OC Johnson Jr. ;Four Sisters-Marvita Fleming, Theresa (Daniel) Graves, Pamela Moon (preceded her death), Rachelle (Jerry) Hubbard; Nieces: Nicole (Zack) Carr, Ralonda Hawkins, Ariana Hubbard Nephews: Aaron Smoot, Armondo Carr, Dawayne Smoot, Jermaine Smoot, Cornell Grayer II; And great nieces and nephews. Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday June 18, 2022 at 11AM, Viewing One-Hour prior at Greater St. Mathew Church, burial at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery to follow.
