Darlene L. Estela, 75, of Bristol, passed away peacefully in her sleep at home, surrounded by her family, on Saturday, July 16, 2022 after a brief battle with biliary cancer. For over forty years, Darlene worked alongside her husband managing his medical practice, serving the community of Bristol. Darlene was known for her kindness and her sweet demeanor. She and Dr. Estela often provided free healthcare to the uninsured and underinsured. In addition to her husband Jose, Darlene is survived by her daughter Wendy Estela and granddaughters Caroline and Victoria of West Hartford; her daughter Sherri Estela and granddaughter Lauren of Clinton; son Kevin Estela of Utah; beloved cousins Robert Osenkowski, Sr., and Raymond Osenkowski, Jr of Bristol; and brothers Norman and Edwin Luba of Terryville.
