Darlah Adams, 59 of Middletown, MD went home to the Lord on July 20, 2024. Darlah was born on September 8, 1964 in South Connellsville, PA to parents Ronald Ringer and Cynthia Neth. Darlah grew up in Brunswick, MD and graduated from Brunswick High School.
Darlah was a sweet, wonderful individual who would light up every room she entered.
Darlah met her husband, Mark Adams when she was 17, cruising the circuit on Rt. 40. They would be celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary on July 28th.
Darlah worked for FCPS Food Service. She enjoyed her work family and lover her school kids. Darlah loved the beach where she loved soaking up the sun for hours. The beach was her happy place.
Darlah loved Disney, often visiting as a season pass holder with her first granddaughter, Scarlett. She was a collector of mouse figurines, her favorite mice being Jaq and Gus from Cinderella. Darlah has a mouse room containing over 3000 figurines on display.
Darlah's biggest pride and joy was being Mimi to her 6 wonderful grandchildren. Her grandkids were her world and she loved talking about them to everyone. She often traveled from Maryland to Florida to Missouri to spend time with them.
Darlah is survived by her husband, Mark Adams, daughters Felicia and Heather (Justin Peck), son Mathew Adams and daughter-in-law Carissa Adams as well as grandchildren Scarlett, Kasen, Wyatt, Leroy, Loretta and Laralyn, and black lab, Willow, sister Diane Watkins, stepbrother Roger Ringer and wife Charlene and her mother, Cynthia.
Darlah is preceded in death by her father Ronald Ringer, grandparents, Harry and Marie Ringer, mother and father in-law, Leroy and Mary Isabel Adams, brother-in-law Leroy (Sonny) Adams, Jr., Ross Adams and sisters-in-law Joyce Burtner and Connie Nusbaum.
Friends will be received on Wednesday, July 24, 2024 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and 7:00 to 9:00 pm at Thompson Harman Funeral Home, 31 E. Main Street, Middletown, and on Thursday, July 25, 2024 from 10:00 to 10:30 am, at which time a funeral service will be held at New Beginnings CBC at Middltown Valley SDA Church, 1811 Arnold Road, Jefferson, MD 21755.
