Daniel Wayne Inman, 41, passed away on Monday, December 16, 2024, at St. Mary's Hospital in Athens, Georgia after a 10-day hospital stay with a heart related illness. Daniel was born to Wayne and Jami Inman on August 9, 1983, and lived in Hope Mills, North Carolina until attending the University of Georgia where he was a four-year starter at offensive tackle for the Bulldog football team 2003-2006. He received multiple honors including two-time All SEC. He continued to teach and coach high school football in Georgia until his passing. Dan is survived by his wife, Erin; stepdaughter, Donovan Fruland; two sons, Walker William and Thomas Cash; sister, Amanda Horne (husband Philip); brother, Kevin (wife Meghan); nephews, Landry Horne, Britt and Mark Inman; niece, Austyn Horne; and his grandfather, James Harvey Trogdon, Jr. Dan was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Betty Jo Inman and Daisy Jackson Trogdon, and his grandfather, Woodrow Inman. Dan is most known for his love of family and friends, music, good food, and Georgia football. A memorial service will be officiated by Reverend Mark Knight at 11:00am on Saturday, January 4, 2025, at Hope Mills Methodist Church, 4955 Legion Rd, Hope Mills, NC. An additional Celebration of Life service will be held on January 19, 2025, at the Tanner farm, 2070 Old Bishop Rd in Bishop, Georgia from 3:00pm to 6:00pm.
