age 93, of Tampa, Florida passed on July 8, 2021 after a life well lived. Judge Gallagher was the beloved husband of Bebe Gallagher, brother of Charles G. Gallagher, and the son of Dorothy Gallagher, all of whom predeceased him. Judge Gallagher is survived by his son-in-law, Gary Jackson, along with his wife, Kim, his sister-in-law, Pam Gallagher, his nephews, Nolan Gallagher and Brendan Gallagher, and his cousin, Georgia Hurley Kurz. Daniel Gallagher grew up in Lakewood, Ohio, received his undergraduate degree from John Carroll University, and obtained both his J.D. and LL.M from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland. He also served in the U.S. Army. Upon relocating to Tampa, Florida, Judge Gallagher became a prominent member of the Florida legal community, serving as a judge in Florida's Thirteenth Judicial Circuit from 1978 until his retirement in 1996, becoming a Judge of Industrial Claims, and practicing at Macfarlane, Ferguson, Allison & Kelly. Daniel Gallagher and his late wife, Bebe, were avid travelers, particularly of cruises that took them to exotic ports of call around the globe. Judge Gallagher was also known for his wry sense of humor and enjoyed his many friendships and socializing at the Palma Ceia Golf & Country Club and the University Club of Tampa. Judge Gallagher will be laid to rest at Lake View Cemetery in Cleveland, Ohio. A memorial mass in Tampa is being planned.
