Dallas Steven White, 41, of Brown County died suddenly and unexpectedly on Thursday January 28, 2021. He was born July 23, 1979 in Indianapolis to Charles S. White and Barbara Williams White. He was the third generation owner of White Drywall LLC.
Survivors include his wife of 18 years, Sarah Percifield White of Brown County; his two daughters, Isabella "Bella" White and Elaina "Lainy" White, both at home; his father and step mother, Charles and Vickie White of Nashville; his mother and step father, Barbara and Mike Colgan of Bartow, Florida; a sister, Tina (Michael) Peplinski of Lakeland, Florida; paternal grandparents, Seward and Maphajean White of Nashville; a step brother, Joe (Jeanette) Langford of Monrovia; a step sister, Kylee (Jess Gibson) Langford of Indianapolis; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Paul and Marie Williams.
Dallas was a devoted family man. He enjoyed building "Rat Rods", as well as other projects and always planning the next one. His other interests were fly fishing, skiing, snowboarding and vacationing with his family. He was a 1998 graduate of Brown County High School and had attended the University of Southern Indiana. Dallas was a great mentor to his younger employees, teaching them to be men.
There will be a gathering of family and friends on Thursday, February 4, 2021 from 4:00 - 7:00 PM in Bond-Mitchell Funeral Home, 1682 State Road 135 North. There will be a private family service immediately following the gathering in the funeral home. Due to Covid restrictions, only 25 people will be allowed inside at a time.
