Dallas Ray Crose, age 84, of Anderson, SC, passed away on Tuesday, June 22, 2021, surrounded by his family.
He was born January 15, 1937, in New Boston, OH, and was the son of the late James Lewis Crose and Beulah Hall Crose. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Richard Crose and sister, Geneva Heath.
Dallas was a veteran of the United States Army stationed at Fort Lewis in Washington State. He later moved to Shelby, OH, and opened Crose Plastics which he operated until his retirement. Dallas and his family then moved to Anderson, SC, where he worked at Ryobi for a few years.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 60 years, Sarah Noble Crose; three daughters; Sherry Zoller (Hal) of Sarasota, FL, Debbie Crose of Greer, SC, and Cindy Haist (Ralf) of Anderson, SC; and grandchildren, Deanna, Devon, and Sierra Haist of Anderson, SC.
The family gives heartfelt thanks to Divine Hospice for their compassionate care of Dallas.
The family will receive friends Friday, June 25, 2021, from 11:00 am-noon at The McDougald Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 12:30 pm in the Chapel with Rev. Michael Caldwell officiating. Interment will follow at M.J. Dolly Cooper Veterans Cemetery.
