Dale R. Lydigsen, Sr., 95, Lady Lake, FL passed away late on Saturday night, May 22, 2019 at the Villages Hospice House with family at his side. Dale was a WWII decorated war hero, who worked his whole career and retired from AT&T in 1984. He was a long term resident of Lady Lake (over 30 years) and loved every minute of it. Dale's first wife Elizabeth L. Lydigsen and his second wife Shirley Lydigsen both predeceased him. He is survived by his son Dale R. Lydigsen, Jr. and his wife Madeleine. He led an active life to the very end... repairing his house and helping neighbors and friends with their house repairs/renovations... he will be sadly missed by all that knew him.
A memorial service will be held at the Lady Lake Chapel of Beyers Funeral Home on Saturday, July 13, 2019 at 11:00 AM with full military honors provided by American Legion #347 honor guard.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests that contributions be sent to The Villages Hospice House, 601 Casa Bella, The Villages, FL 32162.
