Dale Irene Gibble (Robinson) named after Aunt Irene and the movies legend Dale Evans has passed to her flowered mansion in the sky. Irene lived a very modest life, sharing it with her loving husband of 44 years, Dale Richard Gibble in Missouri City, Texas. Irene graduated from Odessa High School and followed in her mother's footsteps by acquiring her degree in nursing from Odessa College. Irene loved serene, flowered mansions such as Moody Gardens in Galveston. Attending gala events was her lived dream. Irene died March 21, 2021 a day and hours before her 73rd birthday. Irene was the first born girl of John Glenn and Mary Janice Robinson, she was preceded in death by her parents and older brother Roy Gary Robinson of Durango Co. Irene is survived by her husband, Dale Richard Gibble, a younger sister, Marian Janice London and husband Dennis of Moody Texas, two brothers of Odessa, Texas, Larry Glenn, his wife Teresa and Paul Edward Robinson, and Roy's wife Amalia of Durango and numerous nieces and nephews. Irene liked family history and celebrated her freedom knowing the survival of the works of her ancestors in the revolutionary war and the works of America's founders, including two patriotic relations: Statesmen Patrick Henry and his House of Burgess nemesis Christopher Robinson who was a founder of America's first college, William and Mary College. Without the gift of children, she surrounded herself with shared love, to and from, her pet dogs and cats.
Irene's greatest personal achievement was in her service to our Lord. Her life, she placed in his hands.
