Cynthia (Cindy) Ilene Lomax was born February 10, 1961 in El Monte, CA to Henry Andrew and Ella Lee Lomax. She passed away on December 22, 2021 at home at the age of 60 years of age. The cause of death was due to heart failure.
Cindy grew up in Baldwin Park, CA and moved to Brea, CA in 1971 with her family. She graduated from Brea-Olinda High School in 1979 and graduated from UC Fullerton in 1982 with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
She lived in La Habra, CA with the last 25 years with her life companion Eric Davis. She worked at ARS over the last 25 years in several different managerial and accounting capacities.
She was also primary in the latter-day care and hospice management of her parents. She also managed their estate for the family. Additionally, she assisted with the elder care of several persons with whom she was directly and indirectly associated.
Cindy is preceded in death by her father, Henry, in 2017, her brother, Stewart, in 2019; her mother. Ella, in 2020, and her sister-in-law, Theola, 2021.
She is survived by her brother David and his wife, Vanetta, of Covington, GA along with their children, and grandchildren. Her brother Jerry and his wife, Sharon, their children, and grandchildren. Her late-brother Stewart’s wife, Denise, and her new husband, Marc, along with Stewart’s children and grandchildren. Her brother Tim and his wife, Cindy, along with their children and grandchildren.
A Memorial and Celebration of Life (CoL) service was held July 23,2022 at Memory Garden Memorial Park and Mortuary in Brea at the location in the park of her and her parent’s grave marker. This was followed by a meet and greet fellowship at Sunny Hills Church of Christ.
