Curtis "Curt" E. Greenwalt, 80, of Bristol, passed away on Sunday, June 13, 2021 at Elkhart General Hospital.
Curtis was born in Clinton, IA on February 6, 1941 to the late John and Dorothy (Bell) Greenwalt. Curtis is married to Anna (Milder) Greenwalt on December 9, 1962 in Clinton, IA.
He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Michael Curtis and daughter, Elizabeth Greenwalt.
Curtis is survived by the love of his life, Anna (Milder) Greenwalt; daughters, Sherri (Brian) Jackson of Elkhart and Julie Greenwalt of Bristol; grandchildren, Spencer Conn of Bristol and Brittany Willis of Ohio; and a great granddaughter.
Curtis was a tool and die maker and worked for Ray Miller at Atlas. He and his wife were members of Zion Lutheran Church in Bristol. Curtis was passionate about collecting classic cars. He belonged to the Michiana Mustang Club. Curtis was most proud of his 1962 Chevrolet Impala SS 409.
Curtis also collected coins, was an accomplished wood worker, gardener and avid golfer. He also loved his two dogs, Bosco and Wren.
Curtis was known as a generous and down to earth husband, father and grandfather.
A Celebration of Life Gathering for Curtis will be on Wednesday, June 23, 2021, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at Zion Lutheran Church, 20943 C.R. 6, Bristol, IN 46507 with a Memorial Service to follow at 12:00 pm in the church. Burial will be at a later date in Clinton, IA.
