Curtis "CC" Clemon Scott, 93, of San Angelo, passed away on February 5, 2022. He was born on October 17, 1928 on the parade grounds, in a small cabin at Fort Concho to Mabel and Clemon Scott. Curtis attended San Angelo High School and graduated in the class of 1946. He later went on to obtain a Business B.A. from Angelo State University then began his career in Telephony, working for GTE of the Southwest as Director of Vehicle and Materials Purchasing. Curtis married Christine Hunter on December 17, 1947 and had 3 children, Hunter, Valerie Kay and Nancy Lynn Scott Wilson. Curtis was a proud member of the San Angelo and Brownfield Lions Clubs, the Telephone Pioneers of American as well as a 32nd degree Mason. He will always be remembered for his coin collecting, pecan farming and model building. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 74 years Christine and his brother Donald Ray Scott. Those left to cherish his memory are his children Curtis Hunter Scott, Valerie Kay Scott and Nancy Lynn Scott Wilson; nephews Donald Ray Scott, Jr. and Tommy Scott and niece Jeanine Scott White. Graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, February 10, 2022 in Johnson's Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers the family asks that you make a memorial donation in Curtiss name to the American Alzheimer's Association.
