Craig T. Detwiler

Craig T. Detwiler, 62, of Ashland, Virginia passed away Saturday, July 23, 2022.

Born May 21, 1960 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, he was a son of the late Thomas R. and Deanna J. (Peiffer) Detwiler.

Employed by Chesapeake Bay Management, he previously worked for Lowe's Motor Speedway in North Carolina and the Seattle Mariners as Director of Team Travel. Craig was a 1978 graduate of Palmyra High School, Pennsylvania and earned his bachelor's degree from West Virginia University, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in journalism in 1983.

Surviving are his spouse Andrea W. Dearing; brothers Daniel R. Detwiler of Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania and Edward D. Detwiler of Ankeny, Iowa; nephew Joshua, husband of Heather Hartsough of Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania and their daughter Dylan.

A funeral service will be held 10:30 AM Friday, July 29, 2022 at Buse Funeral Home, 145 North Grant Street, Palmyra, PA preceded by a viewing from 9:30 AM. Interment in Grand View Memorial Park, Annville, PA.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 897, Hershey, PA 17033.
