Craig Martin Riddle, 67, passed from this life July 30, 2022 at home peacefully with his family by his side after battling cancer. He was born June 14, 1955 to Dale W. and A. Jacqueline (Reynolds) Riddle in Circleville, Ohio. He is survived by his wife of 38 years Suellen (Karr) Riddle, daughters Bree Riddle, Bryce (Miles) Wright, both of Hallsville, Lyenya (Jason) Conrad, South Perry and a special niece and her husband Shelby and Willie Minshall, South Perry, grandchildren Brynn and Karlee Snavely, Lenyx Conrad, Harper and Elliott Wright, brothers Rod (Sharon) Riddle, Chris (Cindy) Riddle all of Laurelville, sisters Heidi Riddle, Monticello, KY, Holly Tatman of Laurelville and his stepmother Marlene Riddle of Laurelville, many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews who he loved dearly. He is preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, cousin who was a brother Les Rife and infant half-brother Ernest Riddle. Craig alone with his brother Chris was in the logging business. He was the co-owner with his brothers Chris and Rod of Dale W. Riddle Forest Products, C&L Erectors and Riggers, Country Auto Parts and Timberwolf Specialty Hardwoods. Craig was a Master Logger, a member of Ohio Forestry Association and Southeastern Ohio Logger's Chapter. He and his brother Chris were Ohio Forestry Association Loggers of the Year in 1989, received the Ohio Forestry Association Outstanding Logger Award in 1990. He also won 1st place in 1984 and 1985 in the Loader Competition as well as placed several times in the Truck Rodeo at the Paul Bunyan Show. Craig also loved to watch his daughters, grandchildren, nieces and nephews play sports, pull tractors and just be themselves. Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 4, 2022 from 1-7 p.m. at the Wellman Funeral Home, Laurelville with funeral services to follow at 7 with Pastor John Williams officiating. Per Craig's request cremation will follow.
