Constance (Lambert) Duquette, 85, died August 6, 2024 at Mount Carmel Nursing & Rehabilitation Center following a period of declining health.
She was born in Manchester on May 16, 1939 the daughter of Armand and Jeannette (Martel) Lambert.
Prior to her retirement she had worked for Velcro USA.
She was a longtime parishioner of St. Catherine of Siena Church.
Family members include her loving husband, Roger Duquette of Manchester, two sons; Richard Duquette and his wife, Noranne of Tolland MA., David Duquette and his wife, Felecia of Fredericksburg, VA., four daughters; Suzanne Robinson and her husband, Victor of Grove City, OH., Denise Schmidt and her husband, Charles of Pembroke, NH, Linda Duquette-Petersen and her husband, Eric of Washington, DC., Diane Manning and her husband, James of Amherst, NH.
She also leaves sixteen grandchildren; Victor Robinson Jr, Matthew Robinson, Tristina (Duquette) Fay, Drew Duquette, Brenna Duquette, Kyle Duquette, Rhys Duquette, Meghan (Schmidt) Triompo, Kaitlyn (Schmidt) Vaughn, Zachary Schmidt, Courtney Duquette, Trent Petersen, Oliver Petersen, Jack Manning, Luke Manning, Cole Manning., seventeen great grandchildren, one brother; Robert Lambert of Del City, OK., and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Roger & Connie recently celebrated 68 years of marriage. He never stopped referring to her as his "beautiful sweetheart". Her role as a wife & mother brought out her nurturing and loving nature, leaving a mark on her family's hearts forever.
Connie's love for her family was boundless. Being a mother, Memere, and great-grandmother brought her immense joy. Her home was always a place of laughter & love. She could always find room for "another place at the table"; a treasured trait she passed on to her children. Along with her self-created recipes for Apple Pie and Fudge.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday August 13, 2024 from 5 to 7 pm at J. N. Boufford & Sons Funeral Home, 110 Bridge St.
A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, August 14, 2024 at 10 am in St. Catherine of Siena Church, corner of Webster and Hemlock Sts.
Committal prayers will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
The family would like to extend gratitude to the tireless staff at Mount Carmel Nursing Home and Hospice of the Manchester VNA for their kindness and selfless care these past few months.
