Constance A Briand (Valley)

Constance A. Briand (Valley), North Port, FL passed away on Thursday, October 30th, 2025 at the age of 90. Born in Keene, NH in 1935 to the late Gordon Valley and Ruth (Hartwell) Valley, she was the loving wife of Wesley Briand.

Raised in Gilbertville, MA Connie married and resided in Hardwick, MA where she was a longtime resident. She eventually retired to LaCasa in North Port, FL in 2002 where she was active in the Grandmother's Club, social events and regularly played bingo and cards with her many friends.

Connie worked for many years in the Quabbin Regional School District as a kindergarten aide for which she loved.

She loved baking, cooking and doing multiply crafts. The one passion she loved was sewing and cross stitching and giving those gifts to her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Connie leaves behind her husband of 74 years Wesley of North Port, FL and her three children and their spouses: Philip and Robin Briand of Nebo, NC; Denise Ayotte of North Port, FL; and Glenn and Dawn Briand of Hardwick, MA. She is survived by seven grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren, her sister Janet (Valley) Krol of Westchester, PA and predeceased by her sister, Janice (Valley) Boissy of Hampden, MA whom she loved dearly and will be missed by all.

A private celebration of life will take place in Massachusetts at a later date.
