Connie Gay Hundley Riddle, 87, born in Perryville, KY on January 23, 1937, went to Heaven on June 4, 2024.
Preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Melvin Thomas Riddle, and by her daughter, Marcia Evelyn Riddle.
She is survived by three daughters, LTC (R) TinaGay Riddle (fiance' Dwight L. Lynes), Tomi Ruth Riddle, Janna Lee Riddle Sharp (Stewart Kerr); grandchildren, Jessica Sharp, Courtney Sharp Voll (Matthew), Jackson Sharp, Connie Li Riddle, Nicole Meaderds (Angelo); and great grandchildren, Tristan Sharp and Marcia Ann Riddle Savage.
She graduated Perryville High School to go into nurse's training but, she met the man of her dreams. Not only was Connie a housewife and mother, she was a staunch supporter of every one of her husband's endeavors. This meant his success as a two term State Legislator, his entrepreneurial quest into Insurance, Real Estate, and Appraisals as well as all of his subsequent campaigns and civic involvement. She, herself, was an active participant in civic matters such as President of the Jaycee-ettes, on the board of Louisville Gardens, President and Chaplain of the Gideon Auxiliary and taught Sunday School for years. She was a member of Highview Baptist Church for 54 years. Connie loved to bowl, she loved participating in her children and grandchildren's sports and activities. She was a spark which will continue to light a path for those whose lives she touched.
She was buried in Penn Run Memorial Park (Louisville).
