Connie Marie Brown, 62 years old, a proud mother and a joyful presence to her family and friends, passed away Wednesday morning, February 7th. She is survived by her husband Tony, her children Anthony, Rachel, and Laura, and her grandchildren Andy, Jordan, and Dory.Connie loved her home teams, often attending Mariners games throughout her life and buying merch to rep them and the Seahawks, only recently adding the Kraken.What she was most recently well known for though was her love of animals, often having a pet off and on since childhood. She loved spoiling her pets, often buying a toy or a treat while she was out thrifting. She also often visited parks and waterfronts, enjoying the view and the fresh air, even if it was just for a short amount of time, with or without her dogs.Connie was often visiting family and friends, dropping by in the morning for a coffee or a soda later in the day, just to catch up and check how everyone was doing. When she was younger, she often had various children over. Either they'd be dropped off by an elder guardian, or they'd just show up on a bike or off the bus, knowing they'd be welcomed at her home. She kept her visitors comfortable, offering food, an activity to do, or just a quiet place to hang out.Her most recent hobbies were going to movies weekly and picking back up her crocheting. She was often making hats and granny squares, linking them up to make a blanket or a little bag. An evening service will be held Tues. Feb. 13, 2024 at 6:00 PM at the Tulalip Gathering Hall. A celebration of her life will be held Wed. Feb. 14, 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Gathering Hall will burial to follow at Mission Beach Cemetery.
