Connie Marie Leffler, age 77, of Okeechobee, Florida, went to be with the Lord on December 12, 2020.
Mrs. Leffler was a former member of Seymour Christian Church and Okeechobee Christian Church.
Connie worked at the Nashville House and Seymour National Bank, and she retired from Seymour High School in June, 2005 as an attendance secretary. She loved spending time with her family, and she loved to travel and spend time with her Seminole Cove friends. Connie lived life to the fullest.
Born on April 9, 1943, in Nashville, Indiana, she was the daughter of Ray and Lena Bowden, both of whom preceded her in death. On July 25, 1961, she married her sweetheart, Charles Leffler, and he preceded her in death.
Survivors include three sons: Doug (Shasta) Leffler, Dan (Barb) Leffler and David (Denise) Niewedde; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and three sisters: Rachel (Dick) Oyer, Susie (John) Hundley and Barbara Skinner.
She was also preceded in death by four brothers: Gerald Allen Bowden, Jim Bowden, Bill Bowden and Jack Bowden; one granddaughter, Katie; and brother-in-law, Max Skinner.
A graveside service for Connie Marie Leffler will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 17, 2021, at Greenlawn Cemetery in Nashville, Indiana.
Arrangements are being handled by Spurgeon Funeral Home, Inc., Brownstown.
