Coman Ray Vann, age 89, passed away Saturday August, 27, 2022, in Wichita Falls, Texas. His last place of residence was Henrietta, Texas. He was born on March 21, 1933, in Quinlan, Texas to Oscar and Cloe (Ketner) Vann.
Mr. Vann served in the United States Air Force for several years and was associated with the Fundamental Baptist Church of Bridgeport, Texas and the First Baptist Church of Jacksboro, Texas. A memorial service was held 2pm Tuesday, August 30, 2022, at the Clay County Community Center in Henrietta, Texas with Pastor Roy Boswell delivering the Eulogy.
Coman married Linda Brewer Martin on September 23, 2021, in Jack County, Texas where they made their home until moving to Henrietta. He leaves behind him to cherish his memory his wife, two sons, George and John of Sault St. Marie, MI, and a stepson, David Gulledge of Jack County, a sister Sue Sizemore of Henrietta and brother Earnest Vann of Jack County, two grandchildren and a great granddaughter along with a host of nieces and nephews.
Mr. Vann is preceded in death by his parents, two daughters, Laura and Marie, four brothers, and three sisters.
The family request that in lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Clay County Community Center in Henrietta, Tx.
