Gayle passed into the keeping of the Divine May 15, 2020 in Greeley, Colorado. "Gay" was born to Donald Gail Anderson and Colleen Elizabeth Anderson/Dotson in Greeley.
She was born in Greeley and raised in Eaton. She resided in Ohio with family for a short time and then spent the rest of her life on the Northern Front Range of Colorado. In her later years a home in Red Feather Lakes, CO was a treasure to her.
Gayle is survived by her children: Marci Clark and Conrad "Clay" Rossman. Her sister-in-law, Barbara Anderson. Her sister Cristi and (Wray) Nicklas. She had six grandchildren, one great-grandson, and several beloved nieces, a nephew and countless cherished cousins.
Her grandparents preceded her in death. Her parents: Don "Sonny" Anderson and Colleen Dotson. Her brother: Barry Anderson, and a niece: Kirsten Anderson. The love of her life, Vince Unrein.
Gayle was a fiercely independent woman. She was adventurous and strong-willed. Her life centered around her friends, nature in all guises, and deep connections with all those she touched. Gayle loved animals, especially horses and her precious dogs. Her spirit was magnetic and her passionate views created a woman who had a lust for life that was infectious to those around her. She was generous to a fault, loved dancing and laughter, and cherished her children, grandchildren and family. She touched lives in unexpected and lasting ways and has collected a second family of those who needed to belong. Her passing is a bittersweet event for so very many.
