Our lovely son and brother Cody Martinez, went to be with the Lord on 23 March.
Cody leaves behind three children, his father and various siblings (both immediate and adopted friends), nieces, nephews and extended family members. He was dearly loved and will be missed beyond words however; he is now with our Lord Jesus Christ, for whom we strive to walk with daily.
Cody was a long time resident of the Four Corners area and served in the Army National Guard. Like his brother and father, he too was a business owner. He loved the San Francisco 49ers and Texas Tech football; so much so he collected and wore hats, jerseys and other such merchandise as does his son. He enjoyed the outdoors and spending time with his children which were truly his everything in this world. Early in life, Cody was also an avid guitar player, whom was solicited to join a rock band however; he chose to raise his family here in Farmington in lieu of following his love of music.
Hood Mortuary located on 1261 E. 3rd Ave., Durango Co., will be hosting services for Cody Martinez at 10 AM on, 31 March 2022.
