Clyde Chandler Harper

Clyde Chandler Harper, age 83, passed away in Knoxville, TN on Friday, August 25, 2023. Clyde was born July 11, 1940 in Cleveland, Mississippi. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin - Madison with a bachelor's degree in accounting and served in the U.S. Navy as a radarman. He retired as a Financial Advisor for Edward Jones in Maquoketa, Iowa.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers and sisters. Clyde is survived by his two daughters, Kathryn A. Harper of Kokomo, Indiana and Diana L. Davis of Knoxville, Tennessee; his four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life open house will be held at The Brewery at 110 S Main Street, Suite A in Maquoketa on October 12, 2023 from 4:00-7:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions to the local Rotary Club, for which Clyde served as president and member of their board during his thirty plus years in Iowa.
