Clyde E. (Ed) Clemens, 61, of Greenfield, IN, passed away Aug. 19, 2021, at Community Hospital North, Indianapolis.
He was born in Indianapolis, IN on October 15, 1959, a son of the late Nancy E. (Deckard) Clemens and Clyde E. Clemens. He married Carol Sue (Schmidt) Clemens. On Dec. 9, 1988 in Troy, OH. Ed graduated from Eastern Hancock High School in 1977 and also honorably served in the US Navy.
Through his life he did many jobs, He was a truck driver thru the years and worked for several trucking companies. He also built log cabins for several years and he was a worker helping rebuild after Hurricane Katrina.
Ed loved to go fishing and camping. He enjoyed watching the Colts and Pacers whenever possible. He was always driving about in his golf cart or riding his motorcycle and enjoying his family cookouts and ice cream.
In addition to his wife Carol Sue Clemens, he is survived by two daughters, Brooke Mardis and Brandi Stahl, both of Rushville; four sons, Mike (Kim) Floyd; Matt (Emily) Fergurson, Anthony (Rochelle) Harlow and Danny R. Harlow, all of Greenfield. He is also survived by two sisters, Cathy (Dave) Smiley, of Elwood, IN; Debbie Burke, of Greenfield; Eleven grandchildren, four nephews and one niece Sarah Price, his favorite sister-in-law, Patti Price will also miss him.
Visitation will be 2 to 6 PM Friday Aug. 27, 2021 at Calvary Baptist Church 1540 W. main St. Greenfield, IN 46140. Military Honors will be given at 2PM by the Hancock County Honor Guard.
