Clifford H. Varner, 84, ofMt. Holly Springs, PA passed away Wednesday,November 6, 2019at his residence.He was born May 12, 1935 in Newville to the late Robert GeorgeandEtta C. (Unger) Varner.
Clifford was a computer operator at Quaker Oats, Shiremanstown, veteran of the United Stated Air Force and member of Toastmasters of Mechanicsburg. He loved the outdoors, working with his hands, and traveling. Clifford was a loving and devoted grandfather.
Surviving is his loving wife of 53 years, Sarah J. Varner;children,Keith A. Varner and fiance, Melissa Kirby of Carlisle,Christopher Varner and wife, Linda of Charlotte, NCand Kelley Varner of Mt. Holly Springs;grandchildren, Mariah and fiance, Collin Cressler and Dane Varner of Carlisle; and step-grandchildren, Kristen, Nathan, and Megan Oiler, all of Carlisle. Also surviving are his sisters,Joann Barrick of Newville and Shirel Carothers of Boiling Springs.
