Clifford Earl Crafts, 74, after a short period of declining health, left this life on July 23, 2021. He was born in Melrose, Massachusetts, on January 22, 1947, to the late Louis E. Crafts and Ruth E. Crafts, after which they moved to Durham, New Hampshire, and eventually settled in Kingston, New Hampshire. Cliff graduated from Sanborn Regional High School with the class of 1967. Upon graduation, Cliff joined the Army and served a tour of duty in Vietnam. After his return, Cliff attended night classes to become a chemist and worked at Malden Mills until the plant closed. He then went on to work in the building trades prior to his retirement.
An avid hiker, Cliff completed hiking all 48 4,000 footers in the White Mountains multiple times and in all seasons. He also enjoyed boating and fishing.
In addition to his parents, Cliff was predeceased by his long-time companion, Marilyn Smiddy, and his brother Robert Crafts. He is survived by his sister, Carol A. McNulty, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Cliff will be dearly missed by family and friends.
