Cletus F. Gehringer, 74, of Warren and formerly a 34-year resident of Royal Oak, died Thursday, Sept. 29, 1988, at William Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak. He was born, Dec. 3, 1913, in Detroit.
Mr. Gehringer was a bakery sales supervisor from the Awrey Bakery Co. until his retirement in May 1978.
He married Rosemary Labrum on Jan. 25, 1947 in Detroit. Mr. Gehringer was a member of the Clawson Knights of Columbus, the Cataract Support Group in Berkley and Guardian Angels Church in Clawson.
Surviving are his wife; son, Richard, Royal Oak; daughters, Catherine Klaer, California, and Norma Krautner, Sterling Heights; sisters, Rose O'Neil, Livonia, Theresa Smoltz, Allen Park, and Sisters Rose Joan, O.P. and Hubert Marie, O.P., both of Adrian; brother Herbert, Florida; and two grandchildren.
