It is with great sadness the Williams family announces the death of Clettis Wilton Williams. He entered in Heaven peacefully at his home in Jackson, SC on the 11th of December. Clettis was born in Slab Fork, West Virginia. He was preceded in death by his father and mother; James and Pearl (Hamilton) Williams, his brothers; Howard, Junior, Jack, and Owen Williams, his Sisters; Rebecca Bolen, Dolly Hutchinson and Ellen Miller. He joined the US Army at the age of 17 and fought in the Korean War. Clettis spent a lifetime working as a carpenter. Clettis is survived by his wife; Mary Williams of 38 years, his sons; Floyd Williams and Christopher (Michelle)Williams, His 2 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, his Sister and brothers; Maxine Hewing, Audie Williams, John (Francie) Williams and Ulysses "Bo" (Linda) Williams. The Williams family will hold a memorial service in Augusta, GA on December 27th and later a Celebration of life in Beckley, West Virginia.
