Claudia Ann Trout, age 75, passed away at Nampa, Idaho on October 10, 2022 from complications of Parkinson's Disease. She was born March 6, 1947 to Harold William and Bonnie Trout in Oakland, Maryland. She grew up in Spokane, WA and moved to Nampa when she was 12, graduating from Nampa High School in 1965.
Claudia had a sunny nature, was fun loving and laughed easily and often. Simply stated, to know Claudia was to love her. She accepted people as they were and was not judgmental. She was quite family oriented. Claudia had a competitive spirit, especially delighting in out fishing her family, and taking everyone's money at cards! She was a devoted BSU fan and cheerleader. She was a great cook and enjoyed entertaining.
Being bright, ambitious and always up for a challenge, Claudia had various jobs throughout her life. But when she began her employment with Wellman Law in 1991, she discovered her true calling working as a paralegal to establish paternity and child support for countless young mothers. She not only handled their legal difficulties but would lend a motherly ear and gladly hold their babies!
Claudia loved to travel and was fortunate to take many trips, especially after her retirement in 2007. As life became more difficult for her in recent years, her trips became fewer but she always looked forward to an annual trip to the Oregon Coast with her friends.
Claudia is survived by her sons, Bill Trout of Nampa (children Savanah and Sean), and Robert Trout (Yvonne) of St. Catherine, Ontario (children Jeffrey, Olivia, Chloe, and Claudia; grandchild Zayne), brothers Richard (Lori) Trout (sons Kevin and Cody), and John (Lois) Trout, numerous relatives and a multitude of friends. Her absence in our lives is keenly felt but our memories of the vibrant woman she was and what she meant to us will be lasting.
There will be a memorial ceremony to honor Claudia in the summer.
