Claudia Delusky, a lifelong resident of Pittsfield MA entered into eternal rest unexpectedly on Sept 13, 2021 at the age of 52.
Claudia was born in Pittsfield on Oct 24, 1968 to Theresa and Edward M Delusky. She graduated from Pittsfield High School in 1986. From early in life Claudia developed a love of horses and spent much of her youth at the stables. She briefly attended the University of Mass. Amherst where she studied animal sciences.
On November 21, 1996 Claudia welcomed her son, Michael Delusky into the world and shifted her focus from horses to being a mother. Through the years she enjoyed working at Benoit as a security guard and as a teller at the GE Credit Union. Her lifelong friendship with Steve Doyle and Jim Coletsos provided her with years of fun and comfort. She loved all animals and kept many pets through the years, including her beloved cat Sweetie Pie. Her caring heart led her life and she showed empathy and generosity to everyone she encountered. While the path she walked through life had its ups and downs, her kindness to her son, family and friends never wavered. No one entered her house without being greeted with a smile and the offering of a meal. Despite her struggles with mental health issues and substance use disorder, which ultimately led to her passing, Claudia still adhered to her morals and led a life full of love and devotion for her son until the end.
Claudia was predeceased by her father, Edward M Delusky and is survived by her mother Theresa Delusky, brother Stephen Delusky, sister Elana (Delusky) Maruk, brother in law Jack Maruk, sister Valerie Delusky, and son Michael Delusky, as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins
