"I've had a good life" Our beloved husband, father ,grandfather and great grandfather passed away peacefully at home with Dolores, his wife of 65 years at his side. Clarence was born in Yakima Washington. At age 10 with his parents Joe and Hazel, brothers Joe, Dean, Donald and sister Katherine, relocated and settled in Marysville. In 1952 Clarence graduated from Marysville high school were he enjoyed sports and was an outstanding athlete. That same year also brought draft papers and Clarence was inducted into the army and served honorably during the Korean Conflict. Following discharge , Clarence returned home to Marysville where he met and married Dolores. Two sons, Steven and Kent completed their family. Clarence was a wonderful and involved father. His enjoyment and knowledge of sports drew him to community youth athletics. In 1967, in affiliation with Snohomish County Boys Clubs he brought Pee Wee football to Marysville. For several years Clarence coached and mentored both football And baseball. Today , many of the now adult, former players, still call him Coach Crider. Clarence was a proud, lifetime member of Laborers Local 292. During his 50 year career in the trades, he had a hand in the construction of many of the roads and buildings we use every day. Much of his free time was filled with his enjoyment of gardening and all things nature. Retirement allowed time to enjoy traveling with Dolores and family both local and abroad. His impact and presence will be missed by many. Clarence is survived by Dolores, sons Steven (Kelly), Kent (Robyn), grandsons Brett (Amy), Craig, Great granddaughters Alaina and Cammeron, Steven's extended family, brother Dean (Sharon), and sister-in-laws Darleen and Julia.
