Clarence "Bill" Erlewine, 79, of Haines City, FL, passed away on August 19, 2023, at his home.
Bill was born on August 11, 1944, in New Martinsville, WV, to Clifton Boyd and Bessie Erlewine. He graduated from Magnolia High School in New Martinsville, WV, as part of the Class of 1963. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1963 to 1967. He moved from West Virginia to Florida in 1997. For over 50 years, he was widely known as a buyer and seller of military artifacts, antiques, and any other curiosity that caught his attention and could be sold for a bargain price.
Bill is preceded in death by his parents, and he leaves behind to cherish his memory his son, William Erlewine and wife Ruthie of Wick, WV; daughter, Kristina Tonn and husband Andrew of Guatemala City, Guatemala; sisters, Norma Bromley of Proctorville, OH and Naomi Beaty of Dallas, GA; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
