Clarcie Irene McMillian Haynes, 83, of Cana, Virginia, passed away at The Landings of Chestnut Grove in Sparta. She was born March 26, 1939, to the late Roger and Girty Hawks McMillian. Mrs. Haynes was a sweet, loving mother, grandmother, and sister, full of energy and a fun sense of humor. She was an avid gardener. She loved her flowers and enjoyed working with them. Mrs. Haynes will be lovingly remembered by her daughter and son-in-law, Tracy and Kevin Marion; sons and daughter-in-law, Gary Lane Haynes Sr., Darryl and Wendy Haynes; grandchildren and spouses, Gary Haynes Jr. and Candice, Misty Easter and Marty, Roger Haynes and Kim, Jacob Haynes and Sara Beth, Kendall Haynes and fiancée Olivia Thompson, Samuel Haynes, Sydney Hicks and Wilford, Brianna Collins and Austin, and Evan Marion; great-grandchildren, Austin Haynes, Levi Jones, Joel Easter, Noah Easter, and Axel Boone Collins; sisters and brothers-in-law, Magilene Pell, Joyce King and Kermit, Ruby Hawks, Linda Cagle and Harley, and Teresa McMillian; brothers and sisters-in-law, Ray McMillian and Belinda, Roland McMillian, Ronnie and Teresa McMillian, and Rommie McMillian and Tabitha; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Haynes was preceded in death by her husband Jimmy Haynes; a daughter-in-law, Linda Doris Haynes; an infant sister a sister, and a sister Margaret Hawks. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m., Sunday June 5, at Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Andrew Willard and Rev Emmett Crotts officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
