Her Legacy... Clara Ann Line, 95, passed away June 20, 2020. She was born on July 6, 1924, in Napoleon, North Dakota to Thomas Schwartzenberger and Helen (Betsch) Schwartzenberger. Clara married the love of her life, William Line, on March 9, 1946, in Howell, Michigan. She will be remembered as loving and caring mother to her husband and children as well as the children she served in the school cafeteria for many years. She also worked as a soda jerk at Spag's on Grand River. Clara was also a member of the Rosie the Riveter group of ladies who worked at Willow Run building airplanes for the war effort. Clara's house was the place to be during the holidays. She cooked the meals and took good care of her guests. She was a regular parishioner at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Clara also belonged to the Rosary Alter Society and the Ladies Quilting Bee. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Her Family... Clara will be missed by her children, Gloria (Roy) Allen, Daniel Line, Thomas Line. She had 4 brothers and 4 Sisters along with 9 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband William; sons, Terry, Mike and Jim; brothers, Joe, Tom; sisters Kate, Margaret and Betty.
Her Farewell... Clara's family and friends will gather for a private committal service at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Howell, Michigan.
