Obituary
Christy Clack of Lakewood, CO, passed away on June 28, 2022, at the age of 50. She was born in Washington, DC, on August 9, 1971, to Rita and the late David Clack. Christy attended Green Mountain High School in Lakewood and earned a Bachelor of Arts in business from Fort Lewis College in Durango, CO. A past employee of TIAA-CREF, she had worked in downtown Denver for several years and loved her work in the real estate and financial services industries along with her many colleagues.
Christy also loved the outdoors, the beauty of her home state of Colorado and the Rocky Mountains, and spending time with her immediate and extended family. Some of her fondest memories were family vacations camping, hunting, trap shooting and fishing with her dad as a young girl. She was very passionate about fashion and had a deep love for animals, most especially her family pets chocolate labs Lady, Missy, Maggie, and Maude, and Buddy the cat.
Christy is survived by her mother Rita Rosekrans Clack and many cousins, aunts, uncles and friends. Her father Dave passed away in 2007 after a long battle with cancer.
Funeral services will take place Monday, July 11, at 10:30 a.m. at Horan & McConaty, 3101 S Wadsworth, Lakewood CO 80227. Burial services will follow at Golden Cemetery in Golden, Colorado, and reception to follow.

Flowers can be sent to the funeral home or in lieu of flowers donations can be made to Jefferson County Animal Shelter.
