Christopher Lee Spalding Sr.
Christopher Lee Spalding Sr., 50, of Summerfield, Florida, passed away unexpectedly at his home on February 7th, 2021.
Chris was born in Bardstown, Kentucky on March 3rd, 1970. He moved to Florida in his teen years. Chris was the owner and operator of his business, Spalding Painting and Maintenance, for many years. Chris enjoyed working with all his clients in The Villages. Chris worked with Farm Fresh Collections building custom made furniture. He was a metal works artist and enjoyed turning metal into beautiful works of art using his homemade forge. He was also an avid collector of RC trucks and cars. Chris was actively involved in Precious Pets Rescue, a non-profit animal shelter, spending many days and nights working alongside his wife, Beth, saving and caring for all animals.
Chris enjoyed going to Starting Point Church in Summerfield, Florida. He also enjoyed Grace Baptist Church of Belleview Florida where he was first Saved.
Chris is survived by his wife, Beth Spalding. His children; Christa Vermillion of Kentucky, Krystal Spalding of Pennsylvania, Christian Algarin and Christopher Spalding of Florida. His stepchildren; Rebecca Logue and Eddie Dixon of Florida, Brandi Rouleau of Michigan and Brandon Robinson of Tennessee. His mother; Sarah Durbin Spalding Moller, a sister; Annette Durbin and a brother George Spalding all from Ocala Florida. His Mother-n-law, Shirley McCamley from Florida. Chris had 12 grandchildren and 9 step grandchildren along with lots of nieces and nephews, and other family and friends.
Chris is preceded in death by his father, Joseph E. Spalding Sr. (Jerry). A son, Jerry Lee Spalding; A sister, Debbie Spalding and a brother, Joseph E. Spalding Jr. (Eddie).
Chris was a very simple man and lived a simple life. He was loved by many and will be dearly missed by all.
