Christopher M. Frederick, 49, of Sullivan, passed away unexpectedly while performing his job as an over the road truck driver in Wilmington, IL on Thursday May 26, 2022. He was born June 18, 1972 in Oberlin. Chris was a life-long resident of the Sullivan area. He was a 1991 graduate of Black River High School and he attended Hocking College. Chris was employed as a truck driver at Dutch Maid Logistics in Willard and he loved his job. He enjoyed woodworking and hunting and he loved his dogs and being outdoors. Christopher M. Frederick is survived by: his beloved wife of 14 years, Rhonda (nee Nubbie); his son, Jared Frederick; his parents, Michael and Sue (nee Crandall) Frederick; his sister, Jennifer White; five nieces, Sarah, Alex, Ellie, Addison and Kenna; three nephews, Joshua, Andrew and Corbin; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Jim and Pat Nubbie; a sister-in-law, Kelly (Carl) Huff; two brothers-in-law, Jim (Kim) and Ron (Stefanie) Nubbie; grandfather-in-law Ken Clark; and many other family members and dear friends. The family will receive friends on Monday June 6, 2022 from 11am until the time of the funeral service at 1pm at the Liston Funeral Home, 36403 Center Ridge Road (at Stoney Ridge Road), North Ridgeville. Pastor Jim Barta from Faith Baptist Temple in North Ridgeville will officiate the service. Burial will be at Butternut Ridge Cemetery in Eaton Township.
