Chris, 79, of Akron, passed away on November 7, 2021 at the Justin T. Rodgers Hospice Center on Ridgewood Rd. She was born to Fred and Mary Pezzopane of the Village of Adena, Ohio, and graduated from Adena HS in 1959. Chris married her high school sweetheart, Tom, on Jan. 25, 1962 and graduated from the Wheeling Hospital School of Nursing later that year, the same hospital where she was born, December 8, 1941.

Chris worked in the ER , various surgical floors, ICU, CCU, oncology, heart catheterization and wound care clinic. She worked at all three local hospital campuses during her career. She truly loved and enjoyed her chosen profession of care giving.

She volunteered at St. Sebastian and St. Vincent Parishes. She had been a Eucharistic Minister and a member of The Altar Society. Most of all Chris loved being at home and taking care of her family.
