Christine Gayle Hilliker, 66 of Vanderbilt, passed away at home on Saturday, May 9, 2020.
Born in Gaylord on March 8, 1954, she was the daughter of Willard B. and Ruth A. (Goff) O'Rourke. On January 10, 1970, Christine married Robert A. Hilliker in Gaylord. They recently celebrated their 50th anniversary.
Christine was a devoted wife and mother who, throughout her life, stayed at home to take care of her family. In her spare time she enjoyed flowers, gardening, reading, sewing and crossword puzzles.
She is survived by her husband, Robert; her children, Candince Lynn (Robert Barnes) Hilliker, Crystal Marie (David Miller) Hilliker and Caleb Michael (Stephanie) Hilliker; grandchildren, Alexander Barnes, Jessie Barnes, Charlotte Hilliker and Lucas Miller; a sister, Mary (John) Brink; brothers, Robert O'Rourke, Patrick (Ann) O'Rourke and William O'Rourke; and nieces, Chelsea Brink, Hailey Miller and Abigail Brink.
Christine's' family will remember her privately. Those who wish are asked to consider memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society.
